Give Local First was built on a great history of giving local 501c3 nonprofits awareness through a large monetary donation as well as through the power of radio, social media and print.
How has Give Local First
helped in our local communities?
Give Local First chooses from a pool of qualified 501c3 non-profit organizations annually. The recipient receives the profits from our annual events. We have raised and donated over $250,000 to local non-profit organizations. We have raised money for Christos House, the Rotary backpack programs, Birthday Blessings and more since we started in 2014.
Sponsorships
If you are a local business, sponsorships are our biggest way to get these events together for non-profits. Reach out to us today and find out how you can help.
Participation
Join us as we host a barbecue competition in May and the areas largest golf tournament in July. It’s fun and helps us raise money.
Volunteering
You can help our local non-profits through volunteer work. Most can’t afford to hire help and strictly rely on partnerships.

How do I get my non-profit signed up for next year?
Fill out the non-profit form and turn information and bring the form to Ozark Marketing Company in West Plains or email form to GiveLocalFirst@gmail.com
When do you make your selection?
We make our selection in the 4th quarter of the year. Depending on how many entries we get, that can push the decision making a little longer since we want to consider every application.
In December, we announce the recipient to the public through radio broadcasts, in the HorseTrader and on line at OzarkRadioNews.com.
Can a non-profit be chosen twice?
Absolutely! We can definitely choose the same non-profit, but it will not be consecutive years. So keep applying!
